Welcome to another exciting season of junior football! We’re thrilled to have you with us for 2025 and look forward to a fantastic year of fun, development, and community spirit.

📅 Meet the Coach & Team Day

We've rescheduled our "Meet the Coach & Team" event to:

🗓 Sunday, 27th April
📍 Napier Marist Clubrooms

• 5th–8th Grade: 10:00am – 11:00am
• 9th–13th Grade: 11:00am – 12:00pm

At this event:
✔️ Meet your teammates and coach
✔️ Receive your Marist playing top
✔️ Enjoy a kick-around with your team on the fields behind the clubrooms

👟 What You’ll Need for the Season

head to Football Central if needing to purchase club gear including our newly designed Napier Marist Hoodie, click link attached: Club Shop Napier Please ensure your child is equipped with:

• White shorts
• White football socks
• Shin pads (mandatory)
• Football boots

⚽ Boot Swap: If your child has outgrown their boots, bring them along! We’ll have a spot for secondhand boots to be passed on to other players.

🗓 Season Overview

Season Duration:

• Starts: Saturday, 3rd May 2025
• Ends: Saturday, 30th August 2025

​​​​​​​🏆 Festival Tournaments (5th–10th Grade)

• King’s Birthday Festival: Saturday, 31st May 2025 at Park Island
• End-of-Season Festival: Date TBC

Note: Other grades will play regular matches on these dates.

📚 School Holidays Schedule

• ✅ Games played: Saturday, 28th June
• ❌ No games: Saturday, 5th July
• ✅ Optional Opt In/Out Game Day: Saturday, 12th July 2025

🔁 Grading Games (9th Grade and Up)

Initial grading games will be played for the first 3–4 weeks of the season. This slightly extended grading period helps ensure fairer matchups and a more balanced competition.

👥 U15s Info

U15s will run alongside the junior season, kicking off Monday, 5th May and running through to late August or early September, depending on numbers.

Trainings are currently running Thursdays from 6pm Bond Field Park Island.

🗺 Venues & Field Maps 

Don’t forget to check our field maps to find your way on game days. Matches for 5th to 8th Grade will be played at Park Island, Napier, however 9th grade and above will take place across Napier, Hastings, and Havelock North.
